About the Clinic
Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) is generally defined as a concept that includes all traditional medicine systems—especially Eastern medicine—as well as various new therapies and treatment methods.
Although Complementary Medicine is often regarded as separate from both traditional and modern medicine, today it has become intertwined with, and even supports and complements, conventional medical practices.
Complementary Medicine is used alongside modern Western medicine with the aim of improving the patient’s condition without reducing the effectiveness of conventional treatments. This therapy should have a positive effect by supporting the main treatment and enabling the patient to recover faster than they would otherwise.
At our hospital, the GETAT (Traditional and Complementary Medicine Applications) Polyclinic, offering treatment services such as Acupuncture, Ozone Therapy, Cupping Therapy (Hijama), and Mesotherapy, has started operating at our 2 September Additional Service Building.
