Safe and Quality Prenatal Care and Delivery
Every expectant mother has the right to receive safe and quality prenatal care and delivery services. At our hospital, pregnancy and postpartum follow-ups and education are conducted according to written protocols prepared based on up-to-date scientific criteria.
Comprehensive Maternal Services
Our institution provides care covering pregnancy, preparation for birth, delivery, postpartum care, and counseling services. Pregnant women receive prenatal care and counseling in "Pregnancy Information Classes." Informed Consent Forms are read and signed. Expectant mothers and their families are fully and accurately informed about delivery methods, tests, and interventions, including their possible benefits and risks, enabling them to participate in planning their births.
Standards-Compliant Facilities and Continuous Service
Our outpatient clinics, education rooms, counseling, and delivery areas comply with national standards. Delivery services are available 24/7. Measures are taken to ensure safe blood transfusions and prevent hospital infections. Regular internal audits monitor the quality of the services and care we provide.
Respect for Privacy and Comfort
Expectant mothers’ privacy expectations are carefully respected, and hygiene and comfort standards are maintained at a high level. To ensure mothers feel comfortable and relaxed, information sessions are held for mothers and their chosen companions, promoting emotional support during labor. Mothers can move freely and comfortably in their delivery rooms without positional restrictions.
Evidence-Based Interventions Only
Non-evidence-based interventions are not routinely applied unless medically necessary. Mothers are given a “labor diet” supervised by anesthesia specialists and dietitians; food and fluid intake is not restricted. Interventions that may cause discomfort or restrict movement are avoided unless medically required.
Adequate Staffing and Resources
Necessary human resources and logistical support for service delivery are kept at optimal levels. Prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care services are provided by a well-equipped and skilled team.
Emergency Obstetric Care and Referral
Referral criteria for emergency obstetric situations are strictly followed. Continuity is ensured in prenatal, delivery, and postpartum service management. In emergencies, medical interventions are provided without delay, and patients are stabilized and referred via the 112 Emergency Ambulance system when needed.
Mother and Baby Centered Care
Delivery services focus on mother and baby. Our hospital is a “Baby-Friendly Hospital.” Mothers are encouraged and supported to hold and touch their newborns. Postpartum mothers stay at least 24 hours after vaginal birth and 48 hours after cesarean section, receiving high-quality postpartum care.
Ongoing Staff Training
Regular training is conducted to improve the knowledge and skills of our staff. Continuous in-service training is provided, using guidelines such as “Prenatal Care,” “Emergency Obstetric Care,” “Labor and Cesarean Delivery,” and “Postpartum Care Management.” Monitoring and evaluation activities ensure proper guideline implementation.
Data Management and Quality Improvement
Necessary records related to provided services are kept and regularly analyzed to improve service quality. Records regarding the quantity and quality of services are maintained accurately and systematically in electronic format. Maternal and perinatal mortality and morbidity are monitored, with regular evaluation meetings held.
