Aims and Objectives of the Community Mental Health Center
The Community Mental Health Center, an important unit within the healthcare system, aims to increase the living skills of patients with severe mental illnesses by informing patients and their families, providing outpatient treatment and follow-up, and using methods such as rehabilitation, psychoeducation, occupational therapy, group and individual therapy. The center conducts regular home visits to monitor patients in their living environments, thus serving as the main organizer and control center for services provided to patients with severe mental disorders.
Patient Admission Criteria and Procedures
Individuals who require treatment and psychosocial support due to psychosis or other severe mental disorders, or whose functionality is seriously impaired due to a severe mental disorder, who have previously been hospitalized or are at risk of hospitalization, are accepted for treatment by the Community Mental Health Center (TRSM).
Referrals are accepted from family physicians, primary healthcare centers, psychiatric units of hospitals, and social care institutions.
Direct applications from patients and their families are also accepted.
Whether the patient meets the admission criteria is evaluated by a psychiatry specialist.
