About the Clinic
This medical field focuses on the evaluation, intervention, initial treatment, and prevention of further injury or complications in cases of unexpected illness or trauma.
It involves accepting and assessing patients who present to the emergency department, making differential diagnoses, performing resuscitation, stabilizing the patient, providing treatment, and referring the patient when necessary.
At our hospital, emergency services are provided 24/7 by general practitioners, emergency medicine specialists, and obstetrics & gynecology specialists. Patients are first examined in the emergency triage unit, and if advanced diagnostic procedures are needed, they are referred to the appropriate department. Our emergency department is equipped with laboratory, X-ray, CT, and MRI services.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT UNITS
TRIAGE
This is the unit where all patients who present to the emergency department are assessed for urgency. Vital signs are recorded, and patients are directed to red, yellow, or green zones based on the severity of their condition. The triage process is conducted according to national and international classification criteria.
GREEN ZONE
This area is designated for patients whose vital signs are stable and who do not present with life-threatening conditions. These are patients categorized under the "green" triage level by the Ministry of Health and international standards. Examination and treatment are performed here.
YELLOW ZONE
This zone is for patients categorized as "yellow" in triage—those who require medical evaluation and testing but are not in immediate life-threatening danger. These patients receive necessary examinations and treatments in this area.
RED ZONE
This zone is reserved for patients in critical condition, whose lives may be at risk if immediate intervention is not provided. These patients are categorized as "red" by the Ministry of Health and international triage guidelines and receive urgent care here.
OBSERVATION ROOM
Patients who are evaluated by a physician and require short-term monitoring are taken to the observation room. Each bed in this room is equipped with an oxygen and vacuum system.
EMERGENCY LABORATORY
Blood samples collected in the emergency department are tested in accordance with the time frames specified in the Emergency Laboratory Testing Times Information Brochure.
EMERGENCY RADIOLOGY (X-RAY)
This is the unit where radiological imaging is performed for patients admitted to the emergency department.
