About the Department
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides services in women's health check-ups, prenatal examinations, postpartum control visits, ultrasonographic evaluations, minor surgical procedures such as endometrial biopsy, major surgeries such as hysterectomy, as well as family planning and childbirth services.
Ultrasound evaluations are performed as part of routine examinations for diagnosing various gynecological conditions, monitoring pregnancy, and during infertility treatments.
It is important for female patients to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. Prior to the examination, vaginal douching, the use of vaginal creams or suppositories, and sexual intercourse are not recommended, as they may affect the examination and test results. Having an empty bladder during the examination will help ensure a more comfortable experience. In addition, we recommend avoiding tight clothing that may cause discomfort during the examination or ultrasound. Please remember to bring along all previous imaging results and test reports to share with your doctor.
