The Duty of the Home Healthcare Services Unit

08.07.2025

  • Providing examination, diagnostic testing, treatment, medical care, and rehabilitation services in the patient's home environment — not for the purpose of diagnosing the disease, but based on a diagnosis previously made by a relevant specialist physician and the planned course of treatment.
  • Preparing documents related to medication reports, incontinence pad reports, nutritional supplement (formula) reports, air mattress reports, and hospital bed requests, and directing the patient's relatives to the relevant units or institutions.
  • Performing wound care (dressing) for conditions such as pressure ulcers or surgical wounds, according to a care plan determined appropriate by the Home Healthcare Physician.
  • Changing nasogastric and urinary catheters as needed.
  • Providing oral and dental health services for bedridden patients.
